Why Email Address Is Important
Your email address is the main key to your online accounts.
It connects to banking services, shopping websites, social media, subscriptions, and password recovery systems. If someone gains access to your email, they can often reset passwords and take control of multiple accounts.
Why You Should Protect Your Email Address
Many online scams start with a stolen or exposed email address.
Even without your password, scammers can use your email address for phishing, password reset attempts, or impersonation scams.
Email addresses frequently appear in data breaches, sometimes years after accounts were created. Protecting your email helps prevent account takeovers and reduces the chances of identity fraud.
