# How to Use the Scam Checker

WHAT IS SCAM СHECKER?

Scam Checker is a tool that checks whether a message, email, or alert could be a
scam.


HOW SCAM СHECKER HELPS

Scam Checker can help you:

 * Check suspicious emails, messages, and alerts

 * Spot common warning signs of scams

 * Feel more confident before clicking a link, replying, or sharing personal
   information

Scam Checker cannot guarantee that something is safe, but it can help you make
safer, more informed decisions. 


HOW TO USE THE SCAM СHECKER 

 1. Log in to Futureproof and go to the Scam Checker section on your dashboard.

 2. Click Upload Image and upload a screenshot, photo, or image you'd like to
    check. Images can be up to 10 MB in size.



 3. After you upload the image, we'll review it. You'll also see a confirmation
    message once we receive your image. 

To review another screenshot or photo, click Check Another Image and upload a
new image.





 4. Once the review is complete, we'll send the results to the email address
    associated with your account. 
    

The email will explain the results and show any signs that the content may be
suspicious.


Read the analysis carefully and follow the recommended safety steps. If the
content looks suspicious, do not click links, reply, or share personal
information.
