Check Their Data is a tool that helps you find out if someone you know — a family member, friend, or contact — has had their email, phone number, or name exposed in data leaks.

Futureproof Check Their Data:

1. Checks an email address, phone number, or name against known data leaks.

2. Shows how many leaks were found.

3. Lists the affected websites or services.

How to Use Check Their Data

Step 1: Choose what you want to check

Select Email, Phone, or Name. Then enter the person's information in the search box. You can switch between the three options before starting the search.

Select More details to learn what the tool may find. When you are ready, select Search.

Step 2: Wait while Futureproof checks the sources

Futureproof searches publicly indexed data-leak sources. The check can take up to 15 seconds, so keep the page open until it is complete.

Step 3: Add a phone number for a more complete check

For a fuller picture, enter the person's phone number and select Search Phone Number. To skip this step, select Skip to name. To stop and view the results, select I have enough, show results.

Step 4: Add a name or go to the results

Enter the person's name and select Search Name. To finish without checking a name, select Skip, show results.

Step 5: Review the results

The summary shows the total number of leaks found across the identifiers you checked. It also shows which identifiers were checked or skipped and lists the affected websites or services. 

Review each result to understand where the information appeared.
